Magic Box is a cultural probe concept. The Magic Box is colorful and attractive suggesting mystical qualities. The magic box carries gifts, toys, photos, souvenirs, messages and other special things. Each evening a 'magic fairy' (in reality a hard-working researcher) exchanges the Magic Box between the homes of the grandparents and the grandchildren.
