The concept consists of two pairs of slippers. The Comslipper provides warmth, light, and vibration as the output mechanism. When the sensor at the heal is touched, the paired slipper warms up. As soon as someone wears his/her pair, the remote pair warms up. When the wearer presses and holds the sensor at the front of the slipper, the anxiety signals appear on the side of the other person’s slipper. When the person taps the slipper, it activates the happy signal. The expression of sad is the slowly drop down signals while the brisk flashings represent happy. Rubbing the slipper and touching the back, senor at the side of the slipper conveys, ‘I am thinking of you’. The ComSlipper also vibrates in a specific rhythm to indicate personal connection.
