Collecting Heartbeats (unknown 2004)

Collecting HeartBeats is a device that records heartbeats and physically plays them back. It can record up to a 100 heart beats. It comes with a diary where the recorded beats can be annotated and combined with drawings or pictures.

Can a recorded heart beat symbolize a lasting memory of a special occasion or situation? What does it feel like when it steals your heart beat? How do people react when something as personal as a heart beat (and their state of health or nervousness) is exposed and compared to others?
