Window (Lenz et al. 2016)



The Window connects two residences with audio and video channels. Knocking on the window frame allows one to check the availability of the remote partner just like knocking on a physical door or window to arouse awareness of the people living in "there." Sliding and opening the camera lids then allow users to open their accessibility and talk to each other.
