Intentional Presence Lampshade (by Hindus et al, 2001)
When both users indicate their presence, the lampshade becomes a collaborative decoration. Users choose the appearance of their own lampshade by selecting a solid color for the upper region and a foreground image for the lower region of the shade. This foreground image is the user’s representation in the upper region on the remote user’s lamp.
