Cut and Paste Hugs (concept | by Howard et al, 2004)

The conceptual device allows partners to capture images, articles, sounds, video clips and then annotate them with their personal commentary, perhaps adding symbols. The device allows “digital hugs and kisses” to be layered over instrumental communication; these intimate gifts can be stored, reviewed and reused in an ongoing intimate dance.
