Feelybean (by Kontaris et al 2012)

The feelybean is a haptic communication device designed to bridge this distance, bringing the sensation of touch, back into the relationship. The form of the device affords interaction by hand; yet avoids the “uncanny valley” by maintaining a subtle appearance.
