Welcome

SnowGlobe (by Visser et al 2010)

The SnowGlobe can be conceived as a presence lamp that displays light and snow. Whenever a close relative, who also has a globe, is moving in the proximity of his/her globe, the globe lights up and shows snow fluttering, the intensity depending on the amount of movement detected. Additionally a user may nudge their relative by shaking the globe, making it snow and light up intensely for a short period of time in the other globe.
